Kazoo

He carried an unmarked package from Yakima to St. Petersburg on his head. When he got to St. Petersburg, he opened the package and it was full of kazoos. He gave kazoos away all morning, and at noon he conducted a kazoo concert, mostly Brahms with a little Pachabel, in the old town square. It was attended by 43 old women baked in sweet talcum powder, and the scent of them as they nodded and waved their paper fans could be detected as far away as Orlando.

Kazoos and mouth harps make a nice ensemble, I suspect.

(Any of you who haven’t read the story of Gordon should do so immediately!)

@ Tek – me too – they smell so familiar.

@ Lolly – I will start a band some day, maybe.
