Introducing my animals

Here is Morgan, the amazing singing husky. She has a nice baritone and prefers religious music.  Morgan is wicked at heart, but can pretend to be good as long as she has frequent hikes and a little salmon once in awhile.

Puma in a basket This is Uma.  She is a puma from Petaluma.  She doesn’t really like dogs, but she adores mice and crunchy little birds. She is much beloved by Shelby, our very small greyhound. Shelby can be seen below, engaged in one of her favorite activities — the after-hike nap.

Shelby lives to run (35 mph at one time). When not running or sleeping, she is biting her sister’s head, or kissing any cat who will allow it.  She has a crush on all things feline, and would be a cat herself if she could figure out how it’s done.

We’ve also got an iguana, a dozen banty chickens, geese, a lone guinea hen, and any number of wild pheasants. More on them later.

What a wonderful family! I sympathise with Shelby: I, too, would be a cat if only I could figure out how its done…
