Wow!
That’s fabulous!
It made me think of Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials and how we might save the polar bears from the melting ice caps by giving them flight and moving us underwater. Or something like that — anyway it’s a terrific photo and polar bears are somehow magical. Go see the slide show: http://www.pittsburghzoo.com/
Amazing images and great writing. I have been stuck on Bainbridge for about five years, like a planet circling Puget Sound; and I do believe in affirmation, vampires, quailty literature, photography and a collective bubbler linking us to the divine.
Thanks for the kind words, phrenseed. I took a look at your site as well — you’ve had a difficult road. Here’s a very short story in Cuentos about brain injury — http://mothergoose.wordpress.com/2006/06/13/fireworks/
Keep on going. I’ll check in with you again.
I am gonna swim around in here with Panda, the Polar bear, and get to know the crevices and rooms and animal areas (gotta’ catch the Red Ravine & the Trees for the Forest, too).
Patti
Happy paddling, Patti — see you again in a week or two, I hope. (I’m just starting to explore your blog as well – more on that later) Thanks!!
